Dr Rachel Law

Dr Rachel Law is a Consultant Psychiatrist with subspecialist training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, bringing clinical experience across inpatient units and community mental health services. She currently holds a public appointment with the Central Adelaide Local Health Network as a Consultant Psychiatrist. Her work spans childhood through adulthood, with a particular interest in adolescents and adults whose difficulties are longstanding and rooted in struggles with identity, emotional regulation, and relational patterns.

She offers comprehensive psychiatric assessments and treatment, including intensive, ongoing psychotherapy within a psychiatric framework. Her approach is grounded in psychodynamic principles and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, offering a depth of understanding that goes beyond symptom management to explore the relational and developmental roots of distress. Her therapeutic training spans multiple evidence-based modalities, including Level 1 and Level 2 IFS training.
